Ron De Jesús (Choreographer)
Is an award winning dancer and choreographer, and Chicago native, was a leading dancer with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC) for 18 seasons. Ron was the original lead in the Twyla Tharp/Billy Joel Broadway Musical Movin’ Out. Ron has created works for HSDC, Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, Luna Negra Dance Theater, Sacramento Ballet and Music Hall (The Full Monty), DRA, BC/EFA, DanceBreak, and NYMF 2006-2007; also, Aetna, Philips. Lexus, and Verizon commercials; and 20th Century-Fox and Richard Frankel Productions. He is Ballet Master for Twyla Tharp. Ron is Founder/Artistic Director of Ron De Jesús Dance. For Stageplays, Ron has provided original choreography for Pied-à-Terre and La Llorona/The Crying Woman.
